When your platform modernized and your application didn't
Your .NET application handles critical operations but it’s running on patterns the platform moved past. .NET 10 ships Native AOT, minimal APIs, and Semantic Kernel for AI integration. Your codebase is still on .NET 6 with full controllers, no Blazor, and AI features built in a separate Python stack. Curotec engineers modernize .NET applications incrementally so the business keeps running while the architecture catches up.
Our capabilities include:
- ASP.NET Core modernization and minimal API adoption
- Blazor migration from JavaScript frontends
- Semantic Kernel integration for AI features in C#
- .NET Aspire configuration for cloud-native services
- Native AOT compilation for performance-critical workloads
- Version upgrades, security patching, and LTS alignment
Who we support
We build and modernize .NET applications for teams running critical business systems in finance, healthcare, and enterprise operations where stability isn’t optional.
Enterprise Teams on Older .NET Versions
Your application runs on .NET 6 or earlier with full controllers, no minimal APIs, and dependencies the platform has moved past. Each version upgrade feels risky and your team keeps postponing it. You need engineers who migrate incrementally without disrupting the operations your business depends on.
Companies Adding AI Without Python
Your AI features run in a separate Python stack maintained by a different team. Semantic Kernel lets you integrate LLMs directly into your C# codebase with the same auth, data access, and deployment pipeline your application already uses. You need engineers who connect both worlds.
Engineering Leads Moving to Cloud-Native
Your .NET application deploys as a monolith and scaling means bigger servers. You need .NET Aspire orchestration, container deployments, and service boundaries that let your teams ship independently without a full rewrite of what already runs in production.

Why choose Curotec for .NET development?
Most .NET agencies list Microsoft certifications. Our engineers build and maintain the applications those certifications describe. We modernize to minimal APIs, Blazor, and Semantic Kernel incrementally because we’ve done it across systems in finance and healthcare where a failed deploy isn’t a rollback — it’s a business incident. Your .NET application stays live while the architecture moves forward.

The .NET ecosystem we build in
Web Frameworks & API Development
Our engineers build APIs and services with ASP.NET Core patterns matched to your application’s complexity and team structure.
- ASP.NET Core – Cross-platform framework for web APIs, MVC applications, and real-time services with middleware pipeline configuration
- Minimal APIs – Lightweight endpoint declarations that reduce boilerplate for microservices and simple CRUD operations
- gRPC for .NET – High-performance RPC framework for low-latency service-to-service communication with protobuf contracts
- SignalR – Real-time bidirectional communication for live dashboards, notifications, chat, and collaborative features over WebSockets
- Dapr – Distributed application runtime that simplifies service invocation, state management, and pub/sub across microservices
- MediatR – In-process messaging library implementing CQRS and mediator patterns for clean separation between API handlers and business logic
Data Access & Storage
We connect your application to relational and document databases with ORMs and caching layers tuned to your query patterns.
- Entity Framework Core – Full-featured ORM with migrations, LINQ queries, change tracking, and support for PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server
- Dapper – Lightweight micro-ORM for raw SQL execution with high throughput on read-heavy workloads and stored procedure integration
- SQL Server – Microsoft’s relational database with Always On availability, columnstore indexes, and native .NET integration through EF Core
- Redis – In-memory cache and session store for reducing database load, managing distributed locks, and pub/sub messaging
- Cosmos DB – Globally distributed NoSQL database with multi-model support, automatic scaling, and low-latency reads for geo-distributed applications
- Elasticsearch – Full-text search and analytics engine integrated through NEST client for log analysis, product search, and vector queries
AI & Machine Learning
Curotec adds AI capabilities to your C# codebase so intelligent features ship without a separate language stack.
- Semantic Kernel – Microsoft’s SDK for connecting .NET applications to LLMs with prompt management, plugins, and AI orchestration
- ML.NET – Native machine learning framework for training classification, regression, and recommendation models in C# without Python dependencies
- Azure OpenAI SDK – .NET client for GPT-5 and embedding models with function calling, structured output, and enterprise security through Azure
- Azure Cognitive Services – Pre-built AI models for vision, language, speech, and decision-making integrated through .NET client libraries
- ONNX Runtime – Cross-platform inference engine for running trained models inside your .NET application with hardware acceleration
- Vector Search – Embedding storage and retrieval through SQL Server, Cosmos DB, or Elasticsearch for RAG pipelines in .NET
Frontend & Cross-Platform
Our developers build UIs with Blazor and cross-platform apps with MAUI so your team stays in C# across every layer.
- Blazor Server – Server-rendered interactive components with real-time UI updates over SignalR and full access to .NET server-side libraries
- Blazor WebAssembly – Client-side execution of C# components in the browser for offline-capable, single-page applications without JavaScript
- Blazor Web App – Unified rendering model that combines server and client interactivity with per-component render mode selection
- .NET MAUI – Single C# codebase for native iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows applications replacing Xamarin with modern platform APIs
- MudBlazor – Material Design component library for Blazor with accessibility, theming, and data-heavy enterprise UI patterns
- Radzen Blazor – Enterprise component suite with DataGrid, scheduler, charts, and form controls optimized for line-of-business applications
Testing & Observability
We validate .NET applications with testing and observability tools configured for your CI pipeline and production environment.
- xUnit – Default testing framework for .NET with trait-based organization, parallel execution, and dependency injection in test classes
- NUnit – Established testing framework with constraint-based assertions, parameterized tests, and fixture lifecycle management
- Playwright – End-to-end browser testing for validating full application flows across Blazor and ASP.NET Core frontends
- OpenTelemetry – Distributed tracing, metrics, and logging that instruments your .NET services for observability across Datadog or Azure Monitor
- Serilog – Structured logging with sinks for console, file, Seq, and cloud destinations that make production debugging searchable

- AWS – ECS, Lambda, and App Runner deployment for .NET teams running outside the Microsoft ecosystem
- Terraform – Infrastructure-as-code for provisioning compute, databases, networking, and environment-specific configuration
- GitHub Actions – CI workflows that build, test, and deploy .NET applications on every pull request with environment gates
FAQs about our .NET development services
Should we upgrade to .NET 10 now?
If you’re on .NET 6 or earlier, yes — .NET 6 is already out of LTS support. We stage the upgrade one major version at a time, resolving breaking changes and testing at each step. Your application stays live throughout.
Can we add AI without building in Python?
That’s exactly what Semantic Kernel solves. We integrate LLM calls, prompt management, and retrieval directly into your C# codebase using your existing auth, data access, and deployment pipeline. No second language stack to maintain.
Is Blazor ready for production?
Yes. Blazor Server and Blazor WebAssembly are both mature. We’ve migrated JavaScript frontends to Blazor for enterprise teams that wanted their entire stack in C#. The rendering model now lets you choose server or client execution per component.
How do you handle monolith to microservices?
Incrementally. We identify service boundaries in your existing application, extract them into independent microservices with .NET Aspire orchestration, and connect them through message queues or gRPC. The monolith shrinks over time instead of disappearing overnight.
Do you work on both Azure and AWS?
Yes. Most .NET teams start on Azure but plenty run on AWS. We deploy to either — App Service and AKS on Azure, ECS and Lambda on AWS. Your hosting platform doesn’t change how we build the application.
Can your engineers work with our existing team?
We work in your repo, follow your conventions, and pair with your developers on patterns they haven’t adopted yet. The goal is your team confident with minimal APIs, Blazor, and Semantic Kernel after our engagement ends.
